Who i am

After MTS (former Dutch Technical School) and the fulfillment of military service I was working at a branch of the SGS in Beilen from 1983 on. During a long-term employment with this employer, I mastered myself all practical areas concerning the non-destructive material research. Because of my fascination for the profession of technical inspector I went expanding my theoretical knowledge with tracking vocational studies and obtaining additional NDT certificates. Afterwards I mastered the certification of Inspection and Quality Control - Level 2 and I am certified for these professional skills since 2004.

Around the turn of the century the default function for which I was hired became more often the one of certified Technical Inspector. In this capacity, I worked in the Netherlands from 2000 to 2006 at various project-sites for a diversity of clients. To mention a few projects: RBI at Delamine (Delfzijl), Pre inspection at Hoek Loos (IJmuiden) and New CSNH at Gasunie (Anna Pavlovna). By the end of that period, I was commissioned by NEM working as a Quality Inspector. From 2007 to 2011 I did technical inspections at ExxonMobil Rotterdam and from January 2012 til present day I am working at Teijin Aramid in Delfzijl. I am currently working as a Technical Inspector IKT-II seconded by GAP Engineering & Project Management.

The increasing professional experience and knowledge encouraged my ambition for an entrepreneurship and I took this step in 2009. Afterwards my disciplines and associated work packages expanded even more. I refer you to my LinkedIn profile for a complete list. Of course, the required certifications for my work are regularly updated and kept up to date.
